Trommel filter
Self-cleaning rotating trommel filter for continuous solids removal from industrial wastewater.
The trommel filter by VDZ Aqua is specially designed and constructed for continuous business operations, screening is done from INSIDE – OUTSIDE principle. The device is has a self-cleaning function and is fully made of stainless steel AISI 304, mounted on internal corrosion-resistant carrying arms.
A dividing compartment with a landing in front of the drum guarantees evenly distributed water spread over the total width of the drum.
A scraper knife mounted over the full surface width removes solid materials from the rotating drum surface. The drive system uses a geared motor and worm transmission with adjustable RPM. Multiple internal sprayer heads provide additional cleaning.
Capable of operating for extended periods without supervision.
