The Challenge
The client was looking for a suitable wastewater treatment for his new poultry slaughterhouse, it was necessary to remove the suspended solids and to deal with fluctuating process conditions. The owner also wanted to process the sludge, to reduce sludge disposal costs.

The Solution
VDZ Aqua designed, engineered and supplied a comprehensive wastewater treatment system, integrating a drum screen for removal of the solids, a DAF unit with polymer preparation, dosing technology, and controlled flocculation to improve separation efficiency and process control. To minimise the sludge disposal costs, there is a sludge processing system with a polymer dosing and a decanter.

The Results
The installation can achieve significantly higher removal efficiencies and a more stable operation, reducing system load and enabling reliable, long-term wastewater treatment performance.
